Agri-Tourism

In the spring of 2019 we decided to invite a few guests to our farm and discovered that the ability to get up close and personal with farm animals is a difficult experience to arrange in our area. Since then, we arranged insurance to cover farm visits for the general public and in 2021, we welcomed many new friends to our farm to meet us and our crazy animals. Going forward, we want to welcome many more guests to our farm.

 

We offer 1 hour farm experiences with Jill and I, as we walk you through our farm introducing you all to our animals, how we use them on our farm and some interesting facts about them and our lives. There are plenty of interactions with animals and because we have new animals/birds born all the time, the animals you interact with changes from week to week. Additionally, we have found many people find what we do during our daily lives to be deeply interesting on a very basic level. Many people have discovered that our way of life is much more deeply connected to how our forefathers lived their lives and very different than modern life and they enjoy learning about this. We also offer a self guided experience around our farm, with less interaction with Jill and Luke, but much more laid back and easier for some families with young kids to go at their own pace. Whichever experience you choose, we will make sure you have a great time, while being very safe. This is also an excellent opportunity for a farm experience for persons with mobility issues, as we can easily accomodate.
